SOUTH BRUNSWICK, N.J. (AP) - One solider from an Army Reserve unit in New York is in critical condition and three others remain hospitalized after their Humvee overturned on the New Jersey Turnpike.

State Police Sgt. Jeff Flynn says investigators on Friday are still trying to determine what caused the vehicle on Thursday to strike a guardrail and turn over in South Brunswick.

Forty-year-old Sgt. Theodore Jackson of Lincoln Park, New Jersey, remains in critical condition.

Twenty-four-year-old Spc. Marcos Santana of Poughkeepsie, New York, and 25-year-old Pfc. Deborah Perez of Brooklyn, New York, are in serious condition. Perez sustained serious leg injuries.

The driver, 24-year-old Sgt. Gedry Concepcion-Munez of Bronx, New York, is in good condition.



The soldiers are from the 533rd Brigade Support Battalion stationed at Fort Totten in Queens, New York.
