HAYWARD, Calif. (AP) - A big rig carrying a load of wine jackknifed on a busy San Francisco Bay Area freeway, snarling the Friday morning commute.

KNTV report (https://bit.ly/1MxQBLO ) Friday that crash occurred on southbound Interstate Highway 880 in Hayward about 3 a.m. At least two lanes are blocked.

It wasn’t immediately known how much wine was damaged in the accident.

The California Highway Patrol says the big rig took out a freeway sign and at least three cars were involved in the incident. It wasn’t immediately known if the drivers were injured.

Crews are trying to get the wine off the rig and upright the vehicle. Crews expect to be out at the scene for several hours.
