FAYETTEVILLE, W.Va. (AP) - A former Little League Baseball Coach accused of sexually abusing children has entered a guilty plea in Fayette County Circuit Court.
Media outlets report 26-year-old John “Hunter” Krise pleaded guilty Thursday to six counts of felony sex crimes against juveniles. Krise will be sentenced June 17, and could face up to 90 years in prison.
Prosecutor Larry Harrah says investigators found thousands of pornographic pictures stored electronically on Krise’s phone depicting children engaged in sexual activities with adults and other children.
When offering his plea, Krise said in court he molested an 11-year-old child at his house in August 2014. He said he also “sexted” two other male victims.
Judge John Hatcher said Krise could also have to pay for his victims’ medical care and court fees. Krise will have to register as a sex offender for life.
