OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - An Oklahoma City man has been arrested for the death of his newborn daughter.

Police said Friday that 22-year-old James Ray Fuston is being held on a first-degree murder complaint in the death of Natalie Nicole Fuston. He was initially arrested for child neglect and child abuse.

Jail records show Fuston is being held without bond and no attorney is listed as representing him.

Police say Natalie Fuston died Wednesday after being hospitalized for almost a week with injuries believed to be the result of abuse. The girl was born March 15.

A suspected cause of death has not been released.
