PAWTUCKET, R.I. (AP) - A police report says an armed drug robbery led to a fatal shooting by a Pawtucket police officer last month.

The Providence Journal reports (https://bit.ly/1Sc4sEn ) that Pawtucket police on Friday released the report of the March 25 arrest of Robert Haworth Jr. of Central Falls at the newspaper’s request.

Authorities say Officer Julianne Borsari fatally shot Dominique Silva on March 24 after Silva pointed a gun at her during a chase. Silva’s weapon turned out to be a BB gun.

The arrest report says Haworth and a man believed to be Silva robbed two other men of marijuana using the BB gun just before Silva was shot to death.

Haworth is charged with robbery and other crimes. His lawyer didn’t immediately return a message from The Associated Press on Friday.
