UPPER DARBY, Pa. (AP) - Jurors have found an Upper Darby man guilty of molesting a 17-year-old girl while she slept in her home.
The panel on Thursday convicted 31-year-old Israel James of indecent assault and the corruption of a minor.
Prosecutors say James climbed into the girl’s bed on the night of Sept. 28, 2015 and began touching her. The girl awoke and attempted to scream, but prosecutors say James put his hand over her mouth.
She eventually escaped and called police.
