TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Pima County authorities are investigating a collision between a pickup truck and a freight train near Tucson.
The Sheriff’s Department says the woman driving the truck was critically injured in the Friday morning collision and that investigators are trying to piece together what happened.
The collision occurred on or near a private crossing along railroad tracks south of Tucson, and the heavily damaged truck ended up in an arroyo which the train tracks cross on a bridge.
