SAN ANGELO, Texas (AP) - Police in West Texas have arrested seven people in connection to the fatal shooting of two teenagers.
The San Angelo Standard-Times reports (https://bit.ly/1SIXvNa ) Eric Ramos and Giliberto Salvador Reyes, both 18 years old, and 17-year-old Fred Angel Garcia have been charged with murder and are being held in the Tom Green County Jail.
San Angelo police say four male juveniles also were charged with murder. The juveniles, whose names were not released, were taken to the Tom Green County Juvenile Justice Center.
The arrests were made following the March 26 shootings of 16-year-old Zane Lopez and 17-year-old Juan Guerrero. Police say Guerrero died at the scene while Lopez died at a San Angelo hospital on Thursday.
Police didn’t offer a motive for the shootings, saying the investigation is ongoing.
