GALESBURG, Ill. (AP) - Author and world religions scholar Reza Aslan will speak this Friday at Knox College in Galesburg.

His presentation is titled “Rethinking Religious Conflict: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam at Home and Abroad.”

The (Galesburg) Register-Mail reports (https://bit.ly/1RTY4XD ) that the event is free and open to the public.

Aslan is the author of several books, including the best-seller “Zealot: The Life and Times of Jesus of Nazareth.” He teaches creative writing at the University of California-Riverside.
