BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - Police in Bismarck are reminding the public of an ordinance change that regulates parking campers, trailers, snowmobiles and other vehicles on public right of ways.
The police department says boats, pull-type campers and motor homes are among the vehicles that can’t be “parked or left standing” on any public street or highway in the city for more than 48 consecutive hours.
Anyone breaking the city ordinance will be subject to a $150 fine per day of violation.
The department says that any camper or trailer that is not moved after a parking ticket has been issued can be towed at the owner’s expense.
