BUTTE, Mont. (AP) - A 76-year-old Montana State Prison inmate has died after an extended illness.
The Montana Standard reports (https://bit.ly/1or3BqL ) that Richard Schuhrke died Thursday in a Missoula hospital.
Schuhrke, of Illinois, was convicted in 2004 of sexual intercourse without consent. He was convicted in 2011 of sexual abuse of children in Missoula County.
He was eligible for parole in December 2011 and was scheduled to be discharged from prison in August.
