ABERDEEN, S.D. (AP) - The South Dakota Board of Regents has given final approval to a new Northern State University residence hall.

The American News (https://bit.ly/1SHkDvw ) reports regents on Friday unanimously approved the $7.35 million residence hall set to break ground in May. The three-story residence hall will house as many as 144 students.

Construction should finish on the new residence hall by July 2017.
