NEW YORK (AP) - The New York Yankees have traded catcher Carlos Corporan to the Tampa Bay Rays for cash.
The deal was announced Saturday.
The 32-year-old Corporan hit .178 with three home runs and 15 RBIs last season with Texas.
Corporan is a career .218 hitter with 20 homers in six seasons with Milwaukee, Houston and Texas.
