10 apply to head Bossier Parish schools

BENTON, La. (AP) - The Bossier Parish school system has released the resumes and superintendent applications.

Of the 10 applicants, more than half of those who applied are Bossier Parish school employees, including Airline High School Principal Jason Rowland.

The six Bossier schools applicants are Jason Rowland, Sherri Pool, David Thrash, Wendell Scott Smith, Gisele Proby-Bryant and Nichole E. Bourgeois.

The Times reports (https://bit.ly/1St2X7c ) the additional four applicants are from Texas, Terrebonne Parish and St. James Parish Schools.

The district’s superintendent search committee announced Tuesday interviews will begin next week.
