PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - Three people have been arrested during a protest at the headquarters of aircraft maker and defense contractor Textron in Providence.

The Providence Journal reports (https://bit.ly/1YJa9h8 ) at least two of the people had chained themselves to the building with bike locks around their necks. Police and fire crews were called to remove them.

During the protest, three others held a sign that read “Textron stop killing and maiming civilians.”

The protesters refused to provide their names to the newspaper.

Providence Police Lt. George Smith says police were considering charging them with obstruction of a business.

A spokesman for Textron did not immediately return a phone message seeking comment.
