LUTHER, Okla. (AP) - The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says four people have died in separate vehicle accidents.
One died in a collision on Interstate 44 near Luther, east of Oklahoma City, that shut down I-44 for three hours Thursday. Details of the crash and the name of the victim haven’t been released.
On US 259 near Idabel, 48-year-old Jim Cody Collier of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, died when his pickup truck crossed the center line and collided head-on with a semi, and 62-year-old Bobby Adams of Muse was killed when the vehicle he was driving crossed the centerline of Highway 63 in Le Flore County and crashed head-on with a sport utility vehicle.
And 66-year-old Robert Rubchinuk of Thomas died Wednesday when his motorcycle went off a Custer County road and struck a fence and trees.
