MERCER, Pa. (AP) - Authorities say a baby girl has died after falling into a swimming pool in western Pennsylvania.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office says 1-year-old Pheylin Cline died early Thursday morning, a day after she wandered from a relative’s home in Mercer. The Volant girl was found a short time later in a swimming pool and taken to a hospital, where she later died.
An autopsy has been scheduled for Thursday.
