HUNTLEY, Mont. (AP) - A first-time mama goat has given birth to quadruplets on a ranch in south-central Montana.

Willis McCall, the pastor at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Hardin, and his family rent a 22-acre ranch near Huntley. They have a couple of hogs, a calf and three goats.

The birth of the kids last week is the first time the family has owned a goat that had a litter.

Willis McCall tells The Billings Gazette (https://bit.ly/26gL5n6 ) he was preparing a pen in the barn on April 12 when their goat started giving birth outside. The first was a boy, the second was a smaller girl, followed by two more girls.

The runt - which they named Sleeper - is being bottle fed in the house. McCall says his children have grown pretty attached to her and they’ll probably keep her.
