TYRE, N.Y. (AP) - A 37-year-old school bus driver from central New York has been arrested on charges related to child pornography.
State police say David Mangan of Syracuse faces charges of first-degree attempted disseminating indecent material to minors and attempted endangering the welfare of a child.
Troopers arrested Mangan Wednesday in the village of Port Byron. Authorities have not explained what Mangan is accused of doing or what prompted an investigation.
Mangan worked a regular bus route for Port Byron schools for four months, but has been fired. He was arraigned in Tyre Town Court and was being held at Seneca County jail on $5,000 bail. It could not immediately be determined if he has an attorney.
