Police: Body of man, 59, found floating in lake

LAKEWOOD, N.J. (AP) - Authorities say a man’s body has been found floating in a New Jersey lake.

Lakewood Detective Sgt. Gregory Staffordsmith tells the Asbury Park Press (https://on.app.com/1T0YTIR ) the man was found unclothed floating just off the shores of Lake Carasaljo around 6:15 a.m. on Wednesday.

Staffordsmith says the victim is a 59-year-old Lakewood man but he didn’t disclose his name.

The Ocean County medical examiner ruled the death accidental and police say they don’t suspect foul play.
