YONKERS, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities say a livery cab driver has been stabbed and robbed overnight in the city of Yonkers.
Police say the 64-year-old victim was stabbed and slashed by a passenger who demanded money at around 1 a.m. Thursday in a residential area on Cedar Place.
Police say the robber, who remains at large, got away with about $150.
The driver managed to get himself out of the car. He was taken to a hospital in serious but stable condition.
