SOUTH YANKTON, Neb. (AP) - Authorities say a person has died in a mobile home fire in northeast Nebraska.

Firefighters were dispatched around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday to a mobile home about three miles south of South Yankton. Cedar County Sheriff Larry Koranda says in a news release that an occupant was found and pronounced dead at the scene. Koranda says positive identification of the body and the cause of death await autopsy results.

The fire cause is being investigated.
