BELLE, W.Va. (AP) - West Virginia State Police say a woman is facing charges after she used drugs and then drove with an infant in her car.
Media outlets report court records show 23-year-old Kayla Marie Facemyer is charged with DUI child endangerment, possession of a controlled substance and no proof of registration.
Police say Facemyer was the driver of a vehicle that a trooper noticed being driven slowly and erratically Tuesday. A man and infant were also in the car.
Police say Facemyer had a white powdery substance in her nostril, and she admitted to snorting Hydrocodone and recently smoking marijuana.
Investigators say she failed several sobriety tests and had a bag that contained some pills.
It isn’t immediately clear whether she has an attorney.
