CULLMAN, Ala. (AP) - The top two administrators of Cullman High School have been placed on administrative leave after having been arrested on trespassing charges.

News outlets report Principal Elton Bouldin and Assistant Principal Mark Stephens turned themselves in to authorities on Wednesday and are charged with third-degree criminal trespassing.

Details surrounding the incident are sparse. Cullman County Sheriff Matt Gentry said the arrest warrants stemmed from a civilian’s complaint rather than a criminal investigation.

In court records filed Thursday, a student’s parents accuse Bouldin and Stephens of unlawfully entering or remaining on their premises on April 14.

Bouldin denies the allegations.
