RIPLEY, Okla. (AP) - The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says a Ripley man has been found dead inside his home.
The OSBI says the Payne County Sheriff’s Office asked for investigative and crime scene assistance after the body of 45-year-old Mario Dwight Smith was found Thursday.
The OSBI says Smith was found dead by a relative and that his body showed trauma consistent with homicide.
A suspected cause of death was not released and the body was sent to the state medical examiner for an autopsy.
