PORTLAND, Maine (AP) - An airline plans to add direct flights from Portland International Jetport to Bar Harbor and Long Island, New York, later this spring.
The Portland Press Herald (https://bit.ly/1TnE0di ) reports Elite Airways will start offering the flights on June 17. The flights to Bar Harbor will be the first commercial jet service introduced at the Bar Harbor airport.
The flights to Long Island will land at Long Island MacArthur Airport in Islip, about 50 miles east of Manhattan. Passengers will also be able to connect to Elite flights that go to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and the Orlando area.
