DENVER (AP) - A jury has convicted a man of shooting a woman to death during a confrontation at a Denver motel.
The Denver Post reports (https://goo.gl/lZc3Yk ) 30-year-old Brandon Foote was found guilty late Thursday of first-degree murder after deliberation, first-degree felony murder and first-degree burglary stemming from the June 25 death of Camille Harrell. He faces a mandatory term of life in prison without parole when he is sentenced June 3.
Prosecutors say Foote and 36-year-old Merita Curry-Swanson broke into a room at the Sage and Sand Motel, and that Foote shot Harrell multiple times.
Curry-Swanson has been charged with first-degree murder and first-degree burglary. She is set to go to trial in June.
