JOHNSTOWN, N.Y. (AP) - An upstate New York man has admitted to driving his 1968 Chevrolet Corvette recklessly in a crash that killed his 42-year-old passenger last year.
The Times Union of Albany reports (https://bit.ly/1SV9S6f ) that 63-year-old Michael Mach pleaded guilty to second-degree manslaughter in the death of Joseph Christman.
State troopers say the men weren’t wearing seatbelts when Mach’s Corvette crashed on Aug. 26 in Johnstown.
Mach could face up to a decade behind bars when he’s sentenced on June 28.
