ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) - Seattle Mariners ace Felix Hernandez was scratched from Friday night’s start against the Los Angeles Angels because of an illness.
The Mariners tweeted that Hisashi Iwakuma (0-2, 4.50 ERA) will start in Hernandez’s place.
Hernandez is 1-1 with a 1.00 ERA in three starts this season.
