ABERDEEN, S.D. (AP) - The South Dakota city of Aberdeen will be getting a microbrewery and tap house in the fall.
The Aberdeen American News reports (https://bit.ly/1qGO1sF ) that Dakota Territory Brewing Co. will take over the former Play It Again Sports location on South Main Street.
The microbrewery and tap house will be the culmination of efforts by Brodie Mueller, Thomas Black and Scott Peterson. It’s expected to open sometime around October.
Mueller says the 10-barrel brewing and fermenting system will take up about half the south wall, and there will be a walk-in cooler in the back with lines leading to about a dozen taps. Work has started on the building, and the bulk of construction to set up the brewery system will begin in early summer.
