Minot zoo opening a week early thanks for favorable weather

MINOT, N.D. (AP) - Roosevelt Park Zoo in Minot is opening a week early this year, after a mild winter and early spring.

The Minot Daily News reports that the zoo will open Saturday rather than on April 30 as originally planned.

Zoo hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. until June 1, than 10 a.m.-8 p.m. until after Labor Day.
