KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - A judge is considering whether a 15-year-old should be tried as an adult in the killing of another teenager in Kansas City.

The Kansas City Star (https://bit.ly/213D69i ) reports that the juvenile suspect is charged with second-degree murder in the Feb. 15 shooting death of Jaiair Strong. Jaiair was a Raytown High School student who had just turned 15.

The suspect appeared in court this week for a hearing to determine if he will be certified to stand trial as an adult. Court officials say a judge took the issue under advisement.
