DEMING, N.M. (AP) - Authorities say a motorcyclist was fatally injured when he lost control of his bike while riding between two tractor-trailer rigs traveling side by side on a southern New Mexico highway.
New Mexico State Police said 22-year-old Jan Portiz of Deming fell to the pavement and was struck by tires of one of the two semis traveling westbound on Interstate 10.
The accident occurred Thursday east of Deming.
