CLEVELAND, Tenn. (AP) - Authorities have arrested a man suspected of fatally stabbing two women and injuring a man at an apartment complex in Cleveland, Tennessee.

The Chattanooga Times Free-Press (https://bit.ly/1SoAoFM ) reports that authorities arrested 24-year-old Stephen Jacob Reed Thursday on two counts of second-degree murder and one count of attempted second-degree murder.

Cleveland police Sgt. Evie West says 33-year-old Crystal Canino and 35-year-old Crystal York were killed in the attack at the Springbrook apartments. The surviving man, 35-year-old Anthony Beck, was in critical condition Thursday evening.

Police have are investigating the stabbings. They have not yet determined a motive for the attack.

It’s unclear if Reed has an attorney.
