State fire marshal: Woman dies in Caddo Parish fire

SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) - The Louisiana Fire Marshal’s Office has identified a woman who died in a Caddo Parish fire.

Deputy Chief Brant Thompson says firefighters found the body of 67-year-old Helen Diane Webb Thursday in her double-wide manufactured home.

Thompson says investigators are continuing to examine the circumstances surrounding a fire.

While no official cause of the fire has been determined, Thompson says investigators have established that the fire originated in a bedroom in the west end of the home.

Thompson says the body was released to the Caddo Parish Coroner for an autopsy.
