Teenager found dead in car in Sherwood parking lot

SHERWOOD, Ark. (AP) - Police in Sherwood say a 17-year-old boy has been found dead in a car parked outside a recreation center.

Police say the 17-year-old boy was found about 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the car outside Bill Harmon Recreation Center.

A spokesman for the Pulaski County Special School District says the boy was a student at Sylvan Hills High School.

Police have not released the boy’s name or a suspected cause of death, but say the case is being investigated as a homicide.
