DURHAM, N.H. (AP) - University of New Hampshire students are hosting an event designed to empower older adults to remain engaged, active and healthy.

Saturday will be the fourth time UNH’s Center on Aging and Community Living is holding its “Age of Champions” event. Taking place at the UNH Field House, it brings together students, faculty and community members for a variety of activities to promote healthy, active living.

Students from the College of Health and Human Services will provide health assessments, present research and teach skills for developing or maintaining active lifestyles. Two documentary films will be shown, and there will be group exercise classes for all ages.

The event runs from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 23.
