TINMOUTH, Vt. (AP) - Vermont state police say a 57-year-old man is dead after being hit by a car near his home in Tinmouth.

Police say Leo Branchaud died of injuries he sustained when he was hit by a car traveling north on Gulf Road at 8:23 p.m. Friday.

Authorities say the car was driven by 57-year-old Lisa Velde, also of Tinmouth.



The investigation is continuing. State police ask anyone with information on the crash to call the Rutland barracks at 802-773-9101.
