MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) - The Vermont Department of Fish and Wildlife is seeking volunteers to help people get the Green Mountain Conservation Camps ready for the summer season.

This year the Kehoe Conservation camp weekend “workcation” in Woodbury will be May 14-16. The Buck Lake camp cleanup on Lake Bomoseen in Castleton will be May 28-29.

Volunteers can participate for as long as they would like, from one hour to both days. The volunteers are welcome to stay overnight in onsite cabins or they can bring their own tents.

Lunch and dinner will be provided.

The camps help connect young people to the outdoors.
