GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) - Florida has added center Gorjok Gak to its 2016 recruiting class.

Coach Mike White made the announcement Tuesday, saying the 6-foot-11 Gak signed a national letter of intent to play for the Gators next season. He joins guard Eric Hester and forward Dontay Bassett in the class.

The Australian-born Gak played high school basketball at Victory Rock Prep in Bradenton. He has an 88-inch wingspan and is rated a top-10 player in the state by ESPN.

Gak helped Victory Rock Prep to a championship in the team’s season-ending Grind Session National Tournament and is rated a four-star prospect by Scout.
