CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Wintry weather has returned to most of Wyoming, with rain changing to heavy snow across most of the state.

The National Weather Service has posted winter storm warnings for Lander, Laramie, Casper and Douglas. Forecasters predict 3 to 8 inches of snow Tuesday.

Casper could see up to a foot of snow by Wednesday.

Snow has closed Interstate 80 between Cheyenne and Laramie. The Wyoming Department of Transportation reports slick conditions on several other routes in southern, central and eastern Wyoming.
