RICHLAND, N.Y. (AP) - A section of the northbound lanes of Interstate 81 has reopened after being closed for nine hours when a pickup truck crashed, injuring two people.
Emergency dispatchers in Oswego County say the crash occurred around 3:15 a.m. Wednesday when a pickup truck hit a guardrail near Exit 33 in the town of Parish, 25 miles north of Syracuse.
Two people have been taken to a hospital. Information on their injuries hasn’t been released.
Both of I-81’s northbound lanes were closed between Exit 33 and Exit 34 until around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The county sheriff’s office is investigating.
