WAGNER, S.D. (AP) - Authorities say a 22-year-old man died in a one-car crash three miles northwest of Wagner.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol says the man who was killed was a passenger in a car driven by a 25-year-old man who suffered minor injuries. They were headed west on South Dakota Highway 50 just before 8 p.m. Tuesday when the car went into the ditch and rolled several times, striking several trees.

The Highway Patrol says neither was wearing a seat belt and both were ejected from the vehicle. Authorities have not released any names.

The accident remains under investigation.
