CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (AP) - A Cedar Rapids man has been 32 years in prison for strangling his wife.
Online court records say 45-year-old Shawn Crowley pleaded guilty after prosecutors lowered the charges. He was sentenced Monday for voluntary manslaughter, kidnapping, stalking and for being a felon with a firearm.
Authorities say he and 39-year-old Chantele Crowley got into an argument on June 30, 2014, and he used his bare hands to kill her in the Cedar Rapids mobile home they shared.
