YORK, Pa. (AP) - A suspended central Pennsylvania district judge accused of having groped a woman who appeared in his courtroom has pleaded no contest to an official oppression count.

The York Daily Record (https://bit.ly/2372kTy ) reports that 51-year-old Jeffrey Scott was sentenced in York County to two years of probation Wednesday. He was also ordered to resign from office immediately.

Court records indicate that prosecutors dropped charges of bribery and harassment. Authorities had alleged that the New Freedom judge offered to expunge a woman’s criminal record if she modeled lingerie for him. He was charged after another woman said he visited her apartment and groped her.
