FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) - The estranged husband of a woman whose body was pulled last week from a North Texas lake has been arrested in her death.

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram (https://bit.ly/1WT13zP ) reports that 31-year-old Rodolfo Arellano was arrested on a capital murder warrant Tuesday. Fort Worth police Sgt. Joe Loughman said investigators are still awaiting an official ruling on the cause of Elizabeth Pule Arellano’s death but suspect the 28-year-old was alive when thrown from the Lake Worth bridge.

Loughman says the woman had recently separated from her husband.

Her body was pulled from the lake on April 16 after police were called to a possible suicide.

Rodolfo Arellano was being held in the Mansfield jail Wednesday with bail set at $500,000. Jail records didn’t list an attorney for him.
