KUNA, Idaho (AP) - A weekly newspaper in the southwest Idaho town of Kuna will become a publication of the Nampa-based Idaho Press-Tribune.
The Idaho Press-Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/236MGrl ) that its parent company, Pioneer News Group, is in the process of buying the Kuna Melba News from Bellevue, Washington-based RIM Publications in a deal expected to be finalized this week.
Idaho Press-Tribune President and Publisher Matt Davison says the addition of the newspaper offers enormous potential to provide top-notch local journalism to Kuna and Melba for many years to come.
Idaho Press-Tribune officials say that starting next week the Kuna Melba News will have a new design, a larger broadsheet page format and more coverage of city government, schools, business and the community.
