PHOENIX (AP) - The Latest on the impact an auto accident had a Phoenix-area community college campus (all times local):

11:50 a.m.

A Glendale Community College campus that closed Wednesday morning because of a serious automobile accident is open again.

The college says classes at North campus would resume at noon.

All of the campus’ public entrances are off that road, which is where the accident occurred.

Phoenix police say a car went off the road, struck a pole and overturned, seriously injuring the woman driving the car.

7:40 a.m.

Classes at one of Glendale Community College’s two campuses are cancelled until noon because of a serious automobile accident.

The college’s website says the North campus is closed until noon due to the Wednesday morning accident on Happy Valley Road.

The college’s website note didn’t explain the circumstances, but a campus map shows that all public entrances to the campus are off Happy Valley Road.

Phoenix police say a car left the road, struck a pole and overturned, seriously injuring the woman driving the car.
