TORONTO (AP) - The Chicago White Sox recalled right-hander Daniel Webb from Triple-A Charlotte and optioned right-hander Miguel Gonzalez to Triple-A.

Webb went 2-1 with two saves and a 3.38 ERA in seven games with Charlotte. He was 1-0 with a 6.30 ERA in 27 games with the White Sox last season.

Gonzalez was promoted to start against the Blue Jays on Monday, allowing five runs and 11 hits over 5 1-3 innings in his season debut.

The White Sox are nearing the end of a stretch of 19 games in as many days. They have carried 13 pitchers for most of that period.
