DOVER, Del. (AP) - A Delaware woman accused of embezzling more than $600,000 from her employer has been sentenced to a year and a day in prison after pleading guilty to wire fraud.

A federal judge in Wilmington also ordered Wednesday that Lisa Mose pay restitution.

Mose faced up to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty in January to one count of wire fraud.

Authorities say that as a supervisor in the reconciliation and settlements department of a credit card processing company in New Castle, Mose made false entries and initiated at least 325 wire transfers to her personal bank accounts and bank accounts of known associates.

Prosecutors say Mose used a significant portion of the proceeds gained over a five-year period to purchase vacations and high-end consumer goods.
